During the summer holiday, swimming in an outdoor, heated pool (max depth 1m) is offered to children aged 5 years and above. A qualified lifeguard and swimming teacher are always on duty when the children are in the swimming area. The swimming area is inaccessible to children unless accompanied by an adult. Swimming takes place during the morning and afternoon sessions, as part of the timetabled programme, with floats and armbands provided for less confident swimmers. Please label all swimming kit. All children must wear a swimming hat in the pool. Children who stay all day can swim twice each day if they wish, although an alternative activity is available for those who prefer just once swim each day. Parental permission is required for children to swim without armbands. (Please confirm that you are happy for your child to swim without armbands on the Booking form) |
